In a move to expand its presence outside its core eMarketing products, FirstReef, LLC (Atlanta, Georgia) announced plans to acquire Axiomfire, Inc. (Austin, Texas). The deal significantly strengthens FirstReef’s position in the eDialogue technology space.

FirstReef first established a foothold in on-demand forms and registration with its 4.0 release of SalesFusion 360. The forms and registration module allowed sales and marketing teams to create registration, surveys and data capture information in a matter of minutes.

AxiomFire has achieved significant success within the on-demand eDialogue market with its eDialogue, eConnector, eSurveys, and eSelector products. Axiomfire’s customers include AT&T, Abbott Laboratories, Dell Inc, Realtor.com, Seagate, Intel, Iomega, McAfee, Microsoft, and LoJack.

Growth potential within the hosted eDialogue market was a motivating factor in the acquisition, according to Chad Ruff, President and CEO of FirstReef. "We think it's an industry where, from a timing perspective, it couldn't be any better," he says, specifically pointing to the multi-channel distribution trend.

FirstReef, Inc. (Boston, MA), a provider of innovative sales and marketing automation technology, today announced that it has been by acquired by an experienced technology entrepreneurs, Chad Ruff. FirstReef will henceforth be headquartered in Atlanta with some continuing operations in Boston. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
